Privacy notice
How Aarogya Family Clinic uses your personal and health data, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: mobile number, name, email (optional).
- Patient details for you and family members you add: name, date of birth, gender, contact numbers.
- Health records created during your care: consultation notes, prescriptions, test reports, vaccinations.
- Appointments, payments and bills.
Why we use it
- To book and manage your visits and send reminders.
- To provide medical care: your doctor reads and updates your health record.
- To issue bills and meet our legal record-keeping duties.
- Health tips or offers only if you allow marketing messages (you can switch this off any time).
Who can see your health record
Only the doctors and nurses treating you. Front-desk staff see appointments and bills, not your notes. Health records are encrypted in our database, every time a record is opened it is logged, and we never put medical details in WhatsApp or SMS messages.
How long we keep it
Medical records are kept for at least 3 years after your last visit, as required for clinical establishments. Other data is deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
- Download a copy of your data from My visits → Privacy.
- Correct your details from your account or at the desk.
- Delete your account. Your login and contact details are erased; medical records are kept for the legal period, then removed.
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time.
